Which location to choose for a photoshoot?

As photographers, we usually keep our favorite locations a secret, but not here - I’m happy to share them with you!

Whether you’re planning a photoshoot or just want a beautiful place to spend time together in the Algarve, I’ve got you covered. Let’s explore some amazing spots that will make your time here even more special!

MY SELECTION
.01

Praia Barranco das Belharucas is one of my favorite hidden spots in the Algarve. With its beautiful cliffs and peaceful vibe, it’s the perfect place to relax, take photos, or enjoy a quiet moment by the sea. If you’re looking for a serene beach experience, this is the one!

Praia do Porto de Mós in Lagos is one of my go-to spots for a perfect beach day. The huge sandy beach is framed by stunning high yellow rocks, creating a beautiful backdrop for photos. It's never exposed to seaweed, so it stays clean even during the season from June to September. Plus, there’s plenty of parking nearby and a spot to clean off your feet after the fun. If you walk a bit further from the entrance, you can find your own peaceful escape, away from the crowds, for the perfect shot!

Is a true gem, but only for early birds! It's the perfect spot to catch the sunrise - make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the sun rises. The view is straight out of a postcard. However, it’s exposed to seaweed during the summer, so you might find the beach a bit dirty. Despite that, the stunning scenery is always worth it. Be sure to visit during low tide, as the rock formations are nearly inaccessible when the tide is high.

It's full of incredible spots, but here are my top 3 favorites: Praia da Barriga, Praia da Cordoama and Praia do Amado.

Praia da Barriga is a bit harder to reach with a rough road, but the reward is pure. Everywhere is raw nature - black rocks, and a sunset that drops straight into the water. It feels like you’re at the edge of the world! It’s always windy, sometimes very windy, so be sure to bring a warm jacket for the evening. I hope you can feel my excitement just through these words!
